§ About

Operators first, consultants second.

Mashjay Associates was started by people who were tired of watching good companies get slowed down by process they never chose. We build the systems we wish we'd had.

Mashjay Associates is a small, senior team of operators, systems designers, and builders who spent years inside logistics floors, finance teams, and product orgs before turning that experience into a practice.

We don't hand over a slide deck and disappear. We sit inside the process, build the fix alongside your team, and stay just long enough to make sure it holds without us.

Every engagement is led by someone who has actually run the kind of function we're being asked to fix — not a generalist reading from a framework.

What we value

The traits we hire and design for.

A

Accountable builds

We attach our name to the systems we ship, and we come back to fix what doesn't hold.

C

Clarity over jargon

If a process needs a glossary to explain, it isn't finished. We write for the person doing the work.

P

Proof before scale

We pilot every redesign on a small slice of the business before it touches the whole org.

Working with us

What an engagement actually looks like.

No open-ended retainers. Every project has a defined scope, a named lead, and a handover date on the calendar from day one.

Scoping call

A 45-minute conversation to find the one process worth fixing first, and whether we're the right team for it.

Fixed-scope proposal

A short document: what we'll diagnose, what we'll build, and the date you'll have it in hand.

Embedded build

We work inside your tools and your team's cadence — not from a separate consultant workstream.

Handover & tuning window

90 days of light-touch support after handover, then we step back fully.
